Ramon Ramirez is a counsel in O’Melveny’s Silicon Valley office and a member of the Labor and Employment practice group.

Ramon’s practice includes representing employers in a wide range of labor and employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Ramon also represents clients in employee mobility disputes involving misappropriation of trade secrets and restrictive covenants, including non-competition and non-solicitation matters.

In addition to his litigation experience before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, Ramon provides day-to-day counseling to clients on a variety of employment issues, including, amongst others, hiring, classification of exempt employees and independent contractors, employee terminations, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws on wage and hour, leaves of absence, and reasonable accommodations.

Ramon also serves as an employment law specialist on mergers and acquisitions and other transactions, drafting employment agreements, non-competition agreements, and severance agreements, and advising on other labor and employment issues related to corporate transactions.
