O’Melveny Worldwide

Rebecca Shore regularly represents clients on their most complex commercial litigations. Her experience covers a range of practice areas, including consumer class actions, mass tort and product liability cases, and health care matters involving federal false claims laws and anti-kickback laws. Rebecca was a core member of the trial team that won a major victory defending an industry-leading pharmaceutical and consumer products company in US$50 billion opioid litigation brought by local California governments. She also has substantial experience crafting successful dispositive briefs for both trial and appellate courts, drafting numerous arguments for retail giants in class action lawsuits.

Rebecca also maintains an active pro bono practice. She argued and won a Ninth Circuit appeal on behalf of an incarcerated client who challenged inhumane confinement conditions. Rebecca has helped clients in family separation and immigration proceedings, evictions, criminal defense, and incapacity planning.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Rebecca was a law clerk for Justice Daniel E. Winfree on the Alaska Supreme Court. During law school, she was a judicial extern for Senior Judge Susan Illston of the Northern District of California.
