Robert Graffum advises companies and investors in various corporate and investment transactions, with a particular focus on representing private equity sponsors, family offices and other institutional investors in mergers and acquisitions, investments and financing transactions. He also advises clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters.
Rob’s transactional experience crosses a diverse range of industries, including transactions in technology, software, banking and financial, payment services, manufacturing, apparel, consumer goods, engineering and construction, healthcare, pharmaceutical and life sciences, restaurant, fitness and real estate spaces. He also has significant experience in cross-border transactions, having spent several years of his career practicing outside of the United States.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Rob practiced in Europe, Asia and Los Angeles with a prominent US law firm for approximately 12 years and in the Santa Monica office of a well-known West Coast law firm. Rob also previously served as an officer in the United States Navy.
