Ryan Chow is a corporate associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office. Ryan’s practice focuses on advising sponsors in connection with the formation, marketing, operation and regulatory compliance of private funds.

He regularly represents institutional investors in connection with investments in alternative asset classes and transactions in the private funds secondary market. He has advised both investors and sponsors in connection with the formation of various bespoke vehicles, including fund-of-ones, dedicated co-investment vehicles and separately managed accounts.

Ryan also has significant experience advising a diverse set of corporate clients on a range of transactional matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions (both domestically and abroad), carve-outs, restructurings and corporate governance.

Ryan is a former William T. Coleman Fellow and maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes assisting veterans with discharge reviews and representing nonprofits and small businesses in connection with mergers, dispositions of assets, governance matters and 501(c)(3) incorporations.
