O’Melveny Worldwide

Sabrina van der Linden-Gonzales is a litigation counsel in O’Melveny’s Newport Beach office. Sabrina regularly advises on privacy and cybersecurity litigation, including issues involving the CCPA, GDPR, and HIPAA. Her practice focuses on complex business litigation, class actions, and product liability. Sabrina has experience in all phases of litigation in both state and federal court.

Sabrina also maintains an active pro bono practice, advising clients on matters involving housing discrimination and immigration. While in law school, Sabrina participated in the UC Irvine Appellate Litigation Clinic and researched, briefed, and argued an immigration law case in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Sabrina is a member of the FBA Young Lawyers Division and an elected member of the Law Alumni Association at UCI Law.

  • Represented pharmaceutical company in a matter involving former employees accused of taking trade secret information.
  • Represented technology company in case involving trade defamation and trade libel.
  • Advised international consumer products company on international marketing messages.

Class Actions & Mass Torts

  • Represented multinational technology company against a consumer class action alleging breach of warranty and violation of various state consumer protection laws.
  • Key member of an O’Melveny trial team that successfully represented an international pharmaceutical company in a months-long trial, achieving a full defense verdict.
  • Represented international pharmaceutical company in various products liability cases involving medical devices and medications.
