Samantha Miller is a litigator specializing in white collar defense and corporate investigations. Samantha regularly represents individuals and companies in internal investigations, white collar criminal investigations, and regulatory matters. She also regularly represents clients in connection with complex commercial litigation. Samantha also devotes significant time to the firm’s pro bono efforts and is active in the office community, serving as co-chair of the New York Women’s Affinity Group.

During her time at O’Melveny, Samantha was seconded to Morgan Stanley where she worked with the US Litigation group and Special Investigations Unit on various internal investigations and litigation matters.

  • Represented a major financial institution in connection with an investigation into tax credit bidding practices.
  • Represented a major financial institution in connection with grand jury subpoenas and a civil lawsuit related to an alleged Ponzi scheme.

  • Represented a private investment company in a week-long trial in Delaware Chancery Court related to a joint venture involving some if its portfolio companies.
  • Represents large private equity fund and individual former directors in fraudulent transfer and breach of fiduciary duty claims brought by litigation trustee for Tops.
