Sam Galavàn

Samantha Galván is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office, where she represents a broad range of clients in various matters including internal investigations, complex civil litigation, and consumer class actions. Her experience includes cases involving claims of general negligence, premises liability, false advertising, unfair competition, and securities law violations. Samantha’s practice spans all stages of litigation, including discovery, dispositive motion practice, and trial. Recently, Samantha served as second-chair trial counsel in a federal court matter where she defended a market-leading kombucha company against false advertising and unfair competition claims.

Samantha also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting domestic violence survivors with declarations for restraining order petitions and recently working with an O’Melveny team to file an amicus brief in the US Supreme Court in support of a criminal defendant on death row.
