Sherin Parikh is an associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office and a member of the Litigation Department. He particularly enjoys the last stages of litigation, including trial preparation and trial.  He has direct courtroom experience representing a wide array of clients.

Sherin is also an Adjunct Professor at Southwestern Law School, where he teaches Principles of Legal Analysis, a class that uses Constitutional Law as a vehicle to improve students' briefing, outlining, legal writing, and exam-taking skills.

Significant achievements include:

  • Served as lead attorney for a six-day jury trial against a criminal defendant for misdemeanor vandalism:  conducted jury selection, opening statement, direct and cross examination of all witnesses, and closing argument.
  • Co-chaired a four-day bench trial against the Department of Parks and Recreation:  drafted and argued substantive motions; conducted cross-examination of key witness; drafted post-hearing brief.
  • Represented investors in an action against a multi-billion dollar investment management company:  assisted with presentation of evidence at trial; served as point person for 1,300 trial exhibits; assisted with drafting examination outlines; performed legal research during all stages of the case; assisted with discovery disputes and document review.
  • Represented an international food and consumer product manufacturer in a nationwide class action lawsuit alleging consumer fraud claims.
  • Represented one of the world’s largest salt mining companies in a multi-billion dollar breach of contract action.
  • Interviewed key witnesses leading to a guilty plea for the City of Redondo Beach Prosecutor’s Office.
  • Secured a significant victory for family of four in eviction proceedings resulting in a reduction in rent, forbearance of back rent, and necessary repairs to the home:  counseled multiple clients; drafted motions to compel, dismiss, and for summary judgment; conducted settlement discussions; filed complaints with Los Angeles Housing Department; prepared for trial.
