Stacy Yae handles complex patent and trade secret litigation matters covering a broad range of technologies, including user interfaces, navigation, location sharing, camera technology, battery power modes on mobile devices, power amplifiers, and synthetic DNA technology. Stacy has been deeply involved in all aspects of complex litigation, including trial. She has worked extensively with technical experts, taken fact and expert depositions, drafted and argued summary judgment motions, prepared fact and expert witnesses for trial, and led a team of 70 attorneys through highly technical and contentious discovery. As a USPTO-registered attorney, she is also familiar with PTAB post-grant practices.

Stacy has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. As part of her senior project at Washington University, Stacy developed a smartphone app designed to read and diagnose like EKGs. She received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Technology.
