O’Melveny counsel John Dermody joined Arthur Traldi and host Adam Pearlman to discuss how the Wagner Group, a private military contractor with close ties to Russia, should be classified. The Wagner Group “has been linked to countless human rights abuses and destabilizing efforts across the globe. The group is now raising speculation in Sudan as they acquire resources to aid Russia's efforts in the war in Ukraine.” The podcast team also discussed whether the Wagner Group should be considered a Foreign Terrorist Organization, and the recent ICC charges against Putin.
