O’Melveny’s David Lash Named 2022 Jim Robie Professionalism and Civility Award Recipient by the Los Angeles County Bar Association

LOS ANGELES—May 18, 2022—The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) has recognized O’Melveny managing counsel David Lash with its 2022 Jim Robie Professionalism and Civility Award, which honors a Los Angeles trial attorney whose career demonstrates the same qualities of professionalism, civility, service, enthusiasm, and collegiality as the award’s namesake, the late Jim Robie.
LACBA describes Robie as “a consummate professional who embraced civility and service to the bar and the civil justice system.” He formerly served as Chair of the Litigation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar.
Lash serves as O’Melveny’s Managing Counsel for Pro Bono and Public Interest Services. Under his leadership, the firm’s pro bono program has received the American Bar Association’s prestigious Pro Bono Publico Award and has consistently been recognized as one of the top 10 pro bono programs in the United States.
