O’Melveny partner Katie Coleman will be a guest speaker at the 39th GCPA Annual Spring Conference & Exhibition. The event is considered a leading electric power conference for the ERCOT/Gulf Coast region and anticipates over 500 industry professionals to attend. Coleman will join a panel discussion titled, “Rethinking Reliability: Are we Solving for the Right Problem?”.
Recognized for her deep knowledge of the electricity market in Texas, Katie Coleman works with a wide range of businesses to navigate regulatory requirements in developing new facilities, buying or selling energy assets, structuring energy supply agreements, and managing energy costs. She assists companies in complying with state and federal laws governing electricity service and participating in wholesale markets. Coleman also has unique experience structuring private use networks and behind-the-meter delivery arrangements, negotiating and drafting energy supply arrangements, and developing on-site generation.
