Comstock Resources

Represented a subsidiary of Comstock Resources in its US$136 million acquisition of certain oil and gas properties from Legacy Reserves.

Independent Energy Project Development Company

Helping an independent energy project development company in the development and project financing of water infrastructure and related clean energy facilities in North Africa and in an LNG-fired generation facility in East Africa.

Matador Resources Company

Advised publicly-traded Matador Resources Company on its midstream arrangements and businesses, including a US$75 million acquisition of Summit Midstream Permian, LLC, which owns the Lane Gathering and Processing System previously held by publicly-traded Summit Midstream Partners, LP.

Next Bridge Hydrocarbons

Counseled client in spinning off from its publicly traded parent, Meta Materials, a developer of high-performance functional materials and nanocomposites. Next Bridge became an independent public reporting company upon completion of the spin-off, and is focusing on a significant oil and gas project comprising some 134,000 continuous acres in West Texas.

Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation

Coordinated legal representation for a syndicate of financial institutions as the Placement Agents in the private placement of Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Sinopec is the largest integrated and professional oilfield service provider in China, and its controlling shareholder is China Petrochemical Corporation, Asia’s largest oil refining and petrochemical enterprise and one of China’s largest state-owned companies.

SK Innovation

Advised SK Innovation in its US$30 million investment in Amogy Inc., a pioneer in ammonia power solutions. The transaction is a bridge note financing, convertible into equity upon further equity financings. Established in 1962 as South Korea’s first and largest oil refining company, SK Innovation is SK Group’s intermediate holding company in the energy, petrochemical, lubricants, E&P, e-mobility battery, and information and electronic materials businesses.
