Michael Hamilton chairs O’Melveny’s Project Development & Real Estate Practice, advising clients on complex real estate, finance, and corporate restructuring matters. Nationally recognized for his borrower-side finance work, he has represented borrowers in a wide range of loan transactions across the country. Over more than 20 years in practice, Michael has originated hundreds of loans totaling over US$125 billion on behalf of borrowers. He also counsels corporate and institutional owners of large property portfolios and brings significant experience developing creative strategies for challenged assets, including environmentally contaminated properties.
