O’Melveny partner Amy Siegel recently moderated the Sports panel for the USJI program III which offers conversations exploring the intersections of art, entertainment, and sports through a US-Japan lens. The program featured an entertainment panel examining cross-border story-telling and a sports panel with the aim to “highlight how creative practice, cultural expression, and athletics continue to push boundaries and shape exchange and collaboration between Japan and the United States.”

Joining Amy Siegel for the sports panel discussing the globalization of leagues, talent, and fandom, were panelists Ilan Ben-Hanan, Senior Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions at ESPN, Masanori Kawana, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Fanatics Asia, and Takumi Jeannin, Partner at A&V Sports Group.
