SINGAPORE—July 30, 2026—O’Melveny has been shortlisted in five categories at The Asia Legal Awards 2026:

  • IPO Lawyer of the Year: Ke Geng
  • M&A Lawyer of the Year: Stephanie Keen
  • Private Equity Lawyer of the Year: Nima Amini
  • International Arbitration Lawyer of the Year: Denis Brock
  • Securities Firm of the Year

The nominations span several of the firm’s key practices in Asia, including Capital Markets, M&A, Private Equity, and Dispute Resolution. The nominated lawyers are the firm’s Asia practice leaders who are among the most seasoned and acclaimed in the region.

Ke Geng, nominated for “IPO Lawyer of the Year”, is the managing partner of the firm’s Beijing office, a member of its Policy Committee, and leader of the Asia Capital Markets practice. He advises issuers and underwriters on Hong Kong IPOs, cross-border financings, and mergers and acquisitions, with particular depth in the life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, and technology sectors, and has guided many of the firm’s landmark China-related listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Stephanie Keen, nominated for M&A Lawyer of the Year, is the managing partner of the firm’s Singapore office and one of the market’s premier M&A and private equity practitioners in South and Southeast Asia. Over nearly three decades she has advised corporations, lenders, and private equity sponsors on leveraged buyouts, cross-border mergers, and corporate restructurings.

Nima Amini, nominated for “Private Equity Lawyer of the Year”, is managing partner of the firm’s Hong Kong office and a member of the firm’s M&A and Private Equity groups. A dealmaker with more than two decades of experience structuring complex cross-border transactions across Asia, Europe, and the US, he advises private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, and financial institutions across the technology, consumer, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors.

Denis Brock, nominated for International Arbitration Lawyer of the Year, chairs O’Melveny’s International Disputes & Arbitration Practice and leads the firm’s Asia litigation practice. He brings decades of experience across commercial and corporate arbitration, litigation, and regulatory investigations, advising clients on joint venture and shareholder disputes, banking and finance litigation, commodities and resources matters, and professional negligence claims.

The “Securities Firm of the Year” nomination reflects O’Melveny’s standing as one of the most active advisers in the Hong Kong equity capital markets. The team has ranked among the top four legal counsel by deal count on Hong Kong IPOs over the trailing 24- and 12-month periods, with recent mandates spanning the life sciences, artificial intelligence, consumer, and new energy and new materials sectors.

The Asia Legal Awards are hosted by Law.com International, part of American Lawyer Media (ALM). This annual event recognizes the region’s most outstanding legal achievements. Winners will be announced in September at a ceremony in Singapore.
