LOS ANGELES—May 21, 2026— O’Melveny partners Ryan Yagura and Darin Snyder have been named to the Daily Journal’s 2026 list of “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers,” which recognizes the top intellectual property and patent litigation attorneys practicing in California.
As chair of O’Melveny’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice, Yagura steers some of the world’s leading technology companies through their complex patent infringement matters. An accomplished trial litigator, he has extensive experience leading offensive and defensive cases in District Court and ITC litigation. This includes patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, breach of technology licensing or development contracts, standard setting, antitrust, and other technology-intense claims. Yagura has also practiced before the USPTO in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings.
Snyder engineers winning litigation strategies for world-leading companies involved in patent, trade secrets, and technology-intense copyright disputes. Armed with over 35 years of trial experience, he excels in advocacy and in client service. Across the US, his celebrated track record includes victories at trial, pre-trial, and on appeal—including precedent-setting matters. In addition to his legal practice, Snyder co-heads Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at O’Melveny and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
