Law360: Women Denied Abortions Launch Complaints In 3 States

Four women, two physicians, and the Idaho Academy of Family Physicians have filed a lawsuit in state court challenging the limited scope of medical exceptions to the two abortion bans in Idaho. The four women, who were denied abortion care, are asking the court to provide clarity on a physician’s ability to provide life-saving abortion care before patients are near death. The Idaho plaintiffs are represented by Leah Godesky, Anna T. Pletcher, Hannah Dunham, Sara Pahlavan, and David Cohen of O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
