O’Melveny Represents Shuangdeng Group in Approximately US$110 Million Hong Kong IPO

HONG KONG—August 26, 2025— O’Melveny represented Shuangdeng Group Co., Ltd. (“Shuangdeng Group”, 6960.HK) in its initial public offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The total offering size was approximately HK$850 million (approximately US$110 million). O’Melveny acted as Shuangdeng Group’s Hong Kong and U.S. counsel and drafted the prospectus. The public offering of Shuangdeng Group was oversubscribed more than 3,000 times, reflecting the continuous boom in the Hong Kong capital market.
Established in 2011, Shuangdeng Group is a leading company in energy storage business for big-data and telecommunication industries, with a focus on the design, R&D, manufacturing, and sales of energy storage batteries and systems. According to Frost & Sullivan, the company ranked first in 2024 among peers in terms of shipment volume.
CICC, Huatai International and CCBI acted as joint sponsors for this IPO.
This marks O’Melveny’s fourth Hong Kong listing representing an energy sector company within the past year, following the listings of Hainan Drinda in May, and Ruichang International and Shanghai REFIRE Group in 2024. O’Melveny served as issuer’s counsel in all four transactions.
