O’Melveny Represents Sunho Biologics in Approximately US$60 Million Hong Kong IPO

HONG KONG—MAY 24, 2024— O’Melveny represented Sunho Biologics, Inc. (2898.HK) on its initial public offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The offering size was approximately HK$460 million (approximately US$60 million). O’Melveny advised Sunho Biologics on both Hong Kong and U.S. law. This is the second listing of a Chapter 18A biotech company in 2024, and O’Melveny has advised on both transactions.
Founded in 2018, Sunho Biologics is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialization of biologics for the treatment of cancers and autoimmune diseases.
China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited (CICC) acted as the sole sponsor, sole overall coordinator, sole global coordinator, joint bookrunner and joint lead manager for this transaction.
This is O’Melveny’s 17th Hong Kong IPO completed for Chapter 18A biotech companies, adding to our market-leading track record in assisting biotech companies in going public.
