The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit affirmed a lower court’s ruling that dismissed antitrust claims against Samsung, Micron Technology Inc., and SK Hynix Inc. over their alleged conspiracy to restrict their output of dynamic random access memory (DRAM). The three companies are the largest manufacturers of DRAM, which is used to store data in digital electronic devices. The O’Melveny team representing Samsung is led by antitrust and competition practice group co-chair Ian Simmons, who argued the case, and partner Stephen McIntyre. The team also included counsel Kurt Brown, and associates Brian Quinn and Daniel Lautzenheiser.
