O’Melveny advised Liberty Media Corporation as a lead investor on the £30 million (US$37.7 million) funding round of F1® Arcade, the pioneering social hospitality concept and first official Formula 1® simulator racing experience to put socializing at its core. The funding round, which was announced on June 12 and will support F1 Arcade’s international expansion plans, was also led by Formula 1, with participation from investment firm Imbiba. The O’Melveny team was led by partner and chair of O’Melveny’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group Eric Zabinski.
