Splashtop, a remote-desktop software company, has been valued at US$1 billion after completing a US$50 million financing round guided by O’Melveny, this article reported. The funding round included participation from Storm Ventures, DFJ DragonFund, and NEA.
Splashtop has over 30 million users and provides remote support software to enterprises, academic and research institutions, government agencies, small businesses, and others, ICLG.com noted.
The O’Melveny team that advised Splashtop included partner Paul Sieben, counsel Martin Mayo, and associate Amit Itai.
