The American Lawyer: An Embarrassment of Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout Out Riches

O’Melveny & Myers LLP was featured in in The American Lawyer’s February 10 edition of its “Litigator of the Week: Runners-Up and Shout Outs” column. A pro bono team led by partner Katrina Robson worked alongside the Education Law Center and The Public Interest Law Center in securing a ruling by Commonwealth Court Judge Renee Cohn Jubilerer that declared Pennsylvania’s public school funding model unconstitutional. Judge Jubilerer noted that the state’s Constitution requires “every student receives a meaningful opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and civically, which requires that all students have access to a comprehensive, effective, and contemporary system of public education.” The O’Melveny team also included partner Dan Cantor, counsel Anne Marchitello, Christopher Burke, John Dermody, and associates Eli Grossman and Caitlyn Holuta.
