O’Melveny & Myers LLP has experienced an 82% increase in M&A deal activity in 2022, according to third-quarter league tables from Refinitiv. Eric Zabinski, chair of O’Melveny’s M&A group, said that while M&A conditions have been “uneven” in 2022, the firm’s performance is a reflection of its focus on “middle market in technology, media, and energy deals; cross-border investments; mid-market private equity; and venture-backed emerging clients.”
