The Baltimore Sun: Veterans of Legal Battles Over Michael Jackson Estate and Against O.J. Simpson Jump Into Angelos Fray

Daniel M. Petrocelli, who is perhaps best known for obtaining a US$33.5 million award in a civil suit against O.J. Simpson for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, has requested the Baltimore County Circuit Court’s permission to represent John Angelos against accusations brought by his younger brother. Louis Angelos claims that his brother John sought to seize full control of the Baltimore Orioles against the wishes of their father, Peter Angelos, who can no longer manage his assets. Petrocelli’s past and present clients include former Enron CEO Jeffrey Skilling and rapper Travis Scott. Petrocelli’s motion for special admission was filed by Jeffrey E. Gordon, a partner at his firm, O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
