O’Melveny Represents CICC and China Industrial Securities in the US$64 Million Top-up Share Placement and Subscription for C&D International

HONG KONG—JULY 22, 2022—O’Melveny recently represented China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited (CICC) and China Industrial Securities International Capital Limited (China Industrial Securities) as the placing agents in the top-up share placement and subscription of new shares for C&D International Investment Group Limited (C&D International) (1908.HK).
30 million shares of C&D International were placed to independent professional institutional and other investors at a price of HK$17 per share. Such shares represent approximately 2.02% of the enlarged share capital of C&D International immediately after completion of the placing and the subscription. The transaction raised approximately HK$500 million (approximately US$64 million). The funds raised will be used by C&D International for the repayment of loans and as general working capital.
C&D International is primarily engaged in real estate development, real estate industry chain investment services and investment in emerging industries in the PRC.
