Los Angeles Business Journal Names Molly Lens a “Women of Influence”

LOS ANGELES—May 3, 2021—The Los Angeles Business Journal has named partner Molly Lens to its “Women Of Influence: Attorneys” list. In what the publication described as “one of the most high-stakes and highly-publicized entertainment litigations in recent memory,” Lens co-led the O’Melveny team representing Fox in its executive poaching suit against Netflix. Her team secured a motion for summary judgment and a permanent injunction stopping Netflix’s impingement of Fox’s employment contracts—a victory that “importantly reaffirms the use and importance of fixed-term contracts.”
Following this achievement, Lens is now co-leading the O’Melveny team representing videogame giant Activision Blizzard as it also takes on Netflix in another executive poaching “headline-making showdown.”
