O’Melveny Partner Stephen McIntyre Named a 2022 “Rising Star” by Law360

LOS ANGELES—June 3, 2022—O’Melveny partner Stephen McIntyre has been named to Law360’s annual list of “Rising Stars” recognizing the attorneys under 40 “whose legal accomplishments belie their age.” Editors from the publication reviewed more than 1,350 submissions before making this year’s selection.
McIntyre was honored for his work defending Samsung Electronics Co. against price-fixing claims that were dismissed in 2019 and 2020. In March 2022, the Ninth Circuit refused to revive the matter. Additionally, Law360 highlighted McIntyre’s role in helping to secure the February 2022 dismissal of an antitrust lawsuit filed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals against rival Novartis Pharmaceuticals. The publication also noted his pro bono work helping an O’Melveny team secure legal asylum in the United States for a man facing persecution in Kenya.
