O’Melveny Ranked Among Top 3 “Best Law Firms To Work For” by Vault for Unprecedented 8th Consecutive Year

NEW YORK—July 15 2022—For the eighth year in a row, the annual Vault survey of law firm associates has named O’Melveny as one of the nation’s Top 3 “Best Law Firms To Work For”—a feat no other firm has ever achieved.

O’Melveny achieved outstanding recognition throughout the 2023 Vault Law Firm Associate Survey, not only claiming the #3 spot in “Best Law Firms to Work For,” but also fourth place in “Best Summer Associate Program.” O’Melveny also earned #2 rankings in two sub-categories, “Quality of Work” and “Business Outlook.” Vault also ranked the firm #3 in the “Best Firm for Overall Diversity” category. This marks the sixth straight year the firm has finished in the Top 3 for this important measure of its commitment to women, racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ associates.

These rankings are particularly meaningful because it is the associates themselves who evaluate their firms. More than 20,000 associates from more than 180 law firms participated in the 2023 survey, rating their own employers—on a scale of 1 to 10—in a variety of areas. Junior associates who had participated in their firms’ summer programs were also invited to weigh in on their experiences as summer associates.
