Brittany Rogers focuses her practice on securities, corporate governance, and complex business litigation, including the defense of securities class actions, derivative suits, and fiduciary duty litigation. In addition to representing clients in state and federal courts—at the trial level and on appeal—she also represents companies, boards, and special committees in government and internal investigations. Brittany works to achieve favorable solutions to her clients’ most important concerns, emphasizing teamwork, efficiency, and the primacy of clients’ business goals.

Brittany serves on the Los Angeles office’s Employment Committee, and in 2017, she received O’Melveny’s highest honor, the Warren Christopher Values Award, which recognized her commitment to excellence, leadership, and citizenship. Brittany’s pro bono practice focuses on impact litigation concerning pressing social issues. Outside of O’Melveny, Brittany is a Board Member of the Federal Bar Association, Los Angeles Chapter.

  • Served as counsel to a multinational semiconductor company in obtaining dismissals of securities class action related to an alleged security vulnerability
  • Represented a Nasdaq-listed company in an appeal to the US Supreme Court, resulting in a unanimous decision that significantly limited the scope of equitable tolling in securities class actions across the country.
  • Served as counsel to a public company’s chief executive officer and ten other executives in obtaining dismissals of securities class action and derivative litigation following an environmental incident.
  • Defeated two separate appeals in the Ninth Circuit on behalf of retail company’s former officers and directors named as defendants in derivative lawsuits.
  • Coordinated high-profile board-level investigations at public and private institutions and advised boards on governance matters.
