David Iden is a skilled litigator and creative problem solver who specializes in representing directors, executives, corporations, and public entities in high-stakes government and special committee investigations. His strength as a brief writer has also helped banking and cryptocurrency clients win early-stage dismissal in complex commercial disputes, securities litigation, consumer class actions, and unfair competition actions. Clients often commend David for providing advice that aligns with their business objectives.  

David has been recognized for his pro bono practice, earning Kids in Need of Defense’s KINDness Matters Award for his stellar representation of individuals seeking asylum protection and special immigrant juvenile status. David has also been featured by LACBA’s Domestic Violence Project as a distinguished contributor to the clinic.

Before joining O’Melveny, David served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Beverly Reid O’Connell of the US District Court for the Central District of California. He graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he served as managing editor of Pepperdine Law Review. David currently serves on Pepperdine Law’s Dean’s Council and mentors law students via Pepperdine’s Preceptor Program.
