Ella focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation. She handles disputes covering areas, including employment, joint ventures and general commercial disputes.
During her traineeship and prior to joining O’Melveny, Ella had extensive experience guiding clients through complex IPO transactions at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as well as regulatory matters.
Commercial Litigation and Arbitration
- Acting for a leading professional services firm in an injunction and subsequent proceedings before the Hong Kong High Court against former senior employees for breaches of fiduciary duties, including diversion of business opportunities and misappropriation of the firm’s assets
- Acting for a leading global insurance broker in injunction and subsequent proceedings before the Hong Kong High Court against former senior employees for breaches of restrictive covenants
- Representing a leading multinational information technology company in obtaining evidence in Hong Kong in aid of civil proceedings in the State of California
- Acting for two investment firms in an HKIAC arbitration involving a contractual dispute with joint venture partners
- Acting for a leading cryptocurrency exchange in an HKIAC arbitration concerning the alleged theft of crypto assets
