Garrett Johnston focuses his practice on private equity and corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities matters, and other corporate matters.

He regularly advises private equity funds, institutional investors, independent sponsors, family offices, entrepreneurs and strategic acquirors on leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and securities transactions, including mezzanine, minority, and venture capital investments.

Garrett also assists portfolio companies and other privately held businesses with debt and equity financings, corporate governance and compliance matters, and businesses and individuals with employment and equity incentive matters.

His experience spans a wide variety of industries, including technology, business services, industrials, energy, and healthcare. He has practiced in New York and Houston.
