Laura K. Kaufmann is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office. Laura focuses her practice on civil litigation and internal investigations.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Laura interned for the Honorable Jane A. Restani of the United States Court of International Trade. As a law student at New York University School of Law, Laura served on the Executive Board of the Journal of International Law and Politics and as a Student Fellow of the Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement. She also participated in the International Refugee Assistance Project and assisted a client in successfully attaining refugee status and resettlement. 

Before law school, Laura interned at the US Department of State and worked as a Financial and Policy Assistant at the European Commission. She received a master’s degree in modern history from the University of Oxford and graduated with highest distinction from UC Berkeley.
