Prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace is a moral obligation and a strategic business decision. Now more than ever, DE&I and Talent Leaders, CEOs and Chairs, General Counsel, and Board Members are under the spotlight for how they are addressing DE&I in their organizations. In a new podcast series called It’s Complicated, O’Melveny and Ivy Planning Group will explore the diversity, equity, and inclusion challenges organizations are facing. Gary Smith, Founder of Ivy Planning Group, welcomes guests to share their perspectives on these complex issues, from competing stakeholders and structural bias to government pressures and systemic challenges.
In the first episode, Smith talks with Brad Butwin, Chair of O’Melveny, Fabiola Dieudonne Aniton, Manager of Organizational Development at the United States Tennis Association, Orlando Ashford, Former CEO of Holland America and active board member, and Teresa Roseborough, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The Home Depot to address the intricacies of leading through DE&I issues in their organizations. How are companies responding? Do they have a responsibility to do so? If they take action, what risks and rewards could result? Their candid, eye-opening discussion offers depth and solutions to the complicated challenges organizations are facing.
