Law360: Florida Slams Racial Gerrymandering Suit

On Tuesday, Florida’s secretary of state and House of Representatives filed two motions to dismiss a lawsuit that challenges four congressional districts and seven House districts as racially gerrymandered, arguing that the plaintiffs failed to show that race was the predominant factor in how the districts were drawn. The plaintiffs are represented by O’Melveny’s Andrew J. Frackman, Patrick J. Jones, Brian P. Quinn, Emily Murphy, and Gabrielle S. Jackson.
