Law360: Wachtell, O’Melveny Build Charter’s Liberty Broadband Buy

O’Melveny advised Liberty Broadband Corporation on its definitive agreement to be acquired by Charter Communications, Inc. in an all-stock transaction. The transaction was announced on November 13 and is expected to close on June 30, 2027, subject to customary closing conditions. The O’Melveny team advising Liberty Broadband was led by partner and O’Melveny Corporate Department co-chair C. Brophy Christensen, and partners Noah Kornblith, Robert Wann, Jr., Jeeho Lee, Matthew Close, James Harrigan, Jeff Walbridge, Robert Plesnarski, Jaroslaw Hawrylewicz, and Adit Khorana.
