Law360: Netflix Improperly Poached Fox Execs, Calif. Panel Says

A three-justice panel at the California Second District Court of Appeal denied Netflix’s request to overturn a lower-court injunction that prevents the streaming company from poaching Twentieth Century Fox employees. Fox sued Netflix in 2016 for unfairly recruiting employees and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marc D. Gross granted the injunction to Fox in 2019. The panel disagreed with Netflix’s argument that Fox’s employment agreements undermine California laws and regulations that are designed to promote competition and enhance worker mobility.
