O’Melveny is advising Korean entertainment company CJ ENM on its acquisition of an 80% stake of US-based content studio, Endeavor Content. The deal is valued at US$850 million and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022. The transaction is the largest M&A deal for CJ ENM since its investment in DreamWorks more than 25 years ago. The team advising CJ ENM is led by partners Daniel Kim, Amy Siegel, and Silvia Vannini along with partner Robert Fisher providing tax advice.
