Entertainment dealmaker Lindsay Conner has joined O’Melveny as a partner in its entertainment, sports, and media group. Connor, who has represented a number of clients in international high-profile deals, said O’Melveny’s high-quality entertainment practice and expertise in cross-border deals drew him to the firm. “Globalization is one of the two most important trends affecting the entertainment industry,” he said. “I recognized that years ago, and I made a special effort to develop expertise in China and elsewhere to meet that need.” Conner expects to bring most of his clients with him to O’Melveny.
