O’Melveny Represents Beauty Farm in US$100 Million Hong Kong IPO

HONG KONG—JANUARY 16, 2023— O’Melveny recently represented China’s leading cosmetic chain operator, Beauty Farm Medical and Health Industry Inc. (2373.HK) in its initial public offering and listing of its shares on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The IPO offering size was approximately HK$783 million (approximately US$100 million), prior to the exercise of the over-allotment option. Morgan Stanley, Haitong International, and Huatai Financial acted as Joint Sponsors, Overall Coordinators, Joint Global Coordinators. O’Melveny advised the company on both Hong Kong and U.S. laws.
Beauty Farm is the largest provider of traditional beauty services and the fourth largest non-surgical aesthetic medical service provider in China. With a model focusing on both traditional lifestyle beauty care and medical cosmetology, Beauty Farm has created a comprehensive service platform for beauty and health management. The company operates multiple chain brands in China’s beauty and health management service industry, including BeautyFarm (美丽田园), its flagship brand established in 1993, and the brands Palaispa (贝黎诗), Neology (研源) and CellCare (秀可儿).
