O’Melveny Partner Jeeho Lee Named a “Northeast Trailblazer” by The American Lawyer

NEW YORK—June 3, 2022—O'Melveny partner Jeeho Lee has been named to The American Lawyer's second annual list of Northeast Trailblazers, which recognizes “professionals in the Northeast who have moved the needle in the legal industry."
Lee was lauded for her work launching O'Melveny's Public Company GC Bootcamp, a program for in-house lawyers and general counsel that provided overviews and practical tips regarding legal issues specific to public companies.
“We wanted to address the key issues that public company legal departments actually face. We took off our ‘big law securities lawyers’ hats and developed a practical, interesting, and meaningful curriculum that would resonate with our clients,” Lee said.
Based in O’Melveny’s New York office, Lee serves as chair of O’Melveny’s Capital Markets Practice. She is a highly skilled corporate transactional lawyer with extensive experience representing US and foreign issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, secondary offerings, private placements, debt offerings, including investment grade issuances and high-yield offerings, and debt restructuring transactions such as exchange offers. In addition, Lee assists public companies with securities law compliance, disclosure issues, and corporate governance matters. She also advises issuers, advisors, and funds with respect to the corporate, security law, transactional aspects of financial restructuring matters, and SPAC transactions.
