Law360: Rosette Wins Fight Over Quechan Tribe Representation

US District Judge Robert S. Huie ruled in favor of Rosette LLP after denying multiple motions by Williams & Cochrane LLP in its case against the law firm over the representation of the Quechan Tribe of the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation. “It’s a complete victory. We’re proud to see Mr. Rosette and his firm vindicated,” said Matthew Close, who represented the firm’s founding partner Robert Rosette “We expected to win on summary judgment all along. Judge Huie is the first judge to have evaluated the case on the facts following discovery. Previous rulings were all based on the allegations in the complaints.
