More than 50 O’Melveny Lawyers Recognized by Best Lawyers in America® 2022

NEW YORK—August 20, 2021—Fifty one O’Melveny lawyers across 39 practice areas have been recognized in the 2022 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. O’Melveny received a total of 88 rankings and 23 lawyers were listed in two or more categories.
The guide named O’Melveny partner Peter Friedman, special counsel Jeff Fisher, and of counsel Howard Heiss as “Lawyers of the Year” for receiving the highest peer feedback in a specific practice area and geographic region. Counsel Rob Catmull and Michael McMillin were honored with the publication’s “Ones to Watch” distinction, which recognizes lawyers who have been in private practice fewer than 10 years.
Recognition by Best Lawyers is based on peer review, with a methodology designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.
